I presented this poster on the variables that affect colour in digital textile printing at the Progress in Colour Studies Conference, London, September 2016. This was the first poster I’ve created as part of my PhD research project and I was pleased to get some interesting questions and meet other colour researchers. It was good to have the opportunity to present my initial research ponderings and I particularly enjoyed having a good conversation about the use of cow’s urine in textile printing and dyeing. Apparently giving cows mangos makes their wee more yellow resulting in a really strong yellow cloth if used in the dye process. Lovely!
