Edward Forster is a printed textile designer whose designs have been used by Nike and Liberty, quite a diverse portfolio.

I’m presuming that his designs are digitally printed because of their construction and that some of them don’t have a repeat to follow. I really like his colour choices because whilst some are have the luminous quality that digital designs tend to utilise (you can’t help yourself when you have a bright monitor screen, its like a sweetie box you just want to choose the most luminous and neon brights – hence the disappointment when they don’t print as you expect) but he also draws upon more muted and pastel tones. His colour ways are also interesting because he uses some of the ranges of colours that hark back to the Interwar period.
