Eugene van Veldhoven is a printed textile designer who designs for interiors. He specialises in cutting edge techniques. His website is full of videos and information about how he creates his designs which is a really useful tool. He utilises digital print and then works back into his fabrics using flocking, coatings, foam printing, laser etching and reflective properties to create unique textured cloths. His inspiration draws from traditional designs and photographic imagery. His hyper real flowers combine tonal backgrounds (bright pink flowers on a darker pink background, yellow flowers on a mustard yellow background, orange flowers on a beige background) and his colour use throughout his work seems to stick with this tonal palette rather than combining too many colour combinations.
